Meter Boxes are available for domestic use and include both gas and electric recessed units. Our Meter boxes are manufactured from hot-pressed, glass-reinforced plastic, making them hard-wearing and weather-resistant. They also comply with all NHBC requirements.

Designed to house UK standard domestic electric meters, including prepay and smart, the Electric Meter Box is supplied by Timloc fully assembled with the door fitted and meets all relevant Building Regulations and British Standards.
The Electric Meter Box is manufactured from hot-pressed, glass-reinforced plastic (GRP) meaning it is weather resistant and will not corrode.
The Meter Box is available in white, but is easily cleaned and can be painted as required.
The Meter Box should be built into the wall in the specified position and ensuring it does not bridge the damp proof course. The base and sides of the box should be fully bedded in to the mortar to hold it into the wall.

The Meter Box Hockey Stick has been designed to suit cable entry into the meter box.
The Hockey Sticks satisfy all NHBC requirements and are manufactured to BS EN ISO 9001-2015. They also comply with all relevant British Standards and all relevant Building Regulations.
They are manufactured from UPVC and are available in black for the internal cavity Hockey Stick, whilst the surface mounted Hockey Stick comes in white.

The recessed Gas Meter Box by Timloc has been designed to house standard UK domestic gas meters and satisfies all NHBC requirements. It also meets all relevant British Standards and complies with relevant Building Regulations having been manufactured to BS EN ISO 9001-2015.
The Meter Box is made from hot-pressed, glass-reinforced plastic (GRP) meaning it won’t corrode and is weather resistant. It is available in white, but is easily cleaned and can be painted as required.

A minimum wall cut out of 535mm x 365mm is required and the box should be built into the wall in the specified position, ensuring it does not bridge the damp proof course.
